Welcome to Chalybeate Tea Room, a peaceful place to relax, unwind, and enjoy good food and great company in the heart of Rock Park, Llandrindod Wells.

We opened our doors in May 2025 with a simple aim – to create a warm, welcoming tea room where everyone feels at home. Whether you are stopping by after a walk through the park, meeting friends for tea and cake, or looking for somewhere calm to sit and enjoy the surroundings, we hope you’ll find Chalybeate Tea Room the perfect spot.

Our tea room is set within the historic Pump House building, a place rich in local history and once part of Llandrindod Wells’ spa heritage. We have embraced the character of the building while creating a cosy, comfortable space where you can relax and take your time.

Inside, you’ll find a friendly atmosphere and a menu filled with quality teas, delicous cakes, and light lunches. Outside, our seating allows you to enjoy the beauty of Rock Park, making it a lovely place to sit back, watch the world go by, and enjoy a moment of calm.

We are passionate about offering a welcoming space for everyone, from locals and visitors to families, walkers, and friends catching up. We also love being part of special moments, whether that’s a birthday celebration, a family gathering, or an intimate wedding in a beautiful park setting.
